My 2025 PCT attempt will be self-funded. That has always been the plan, since day one. While thru-hiking can be very expensive, I don’t think it’s fair to crowd-source money for a trip like this. This is, after all, a voluntary adventure, not an emergency situation. I don’t want to rely on anyone else or give the impression that I’ve invited you to my blog to ask for money.

However, some friends have suggested I at least make the option to donate available. If you feel like helping me buy some peanut butter or socks, then click away, if not – don’t even sweat it.
